About Us

Mrs Ruth Mirembe Muga - Executive Director

"Bethesda believes that every child is entitled to a home for love and care, basic needs and education. Bethesda means "House of grace." Bethesda provides both replacement of orphaned children of shelter in foster families and also empowers guardians families who are able to take care of such children."

He is a Father to the fatherless..., He gives the desolate a home to live in - Ps 68:5

We give our attention to these aids orphaned children. If these children are not catered for, and not given education, they will have no choice but to go on streets, growing girls will go into the sex business to become sex workers and other growing girls will be sexually abused. This risks their survival far in the process there will be infected with HIV. We therefore would like to give our attention more to the AIDS orphans.

Target/Beneficiaries:
Bethesda targets the most vulnerable children who are Aids Orphans, abandoned; street children; school dropouts and households having children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
